I’m passionate about high quality dance education for everyone.

I am driven by the ethos that high-quality dance education is for everyone. Over the last 15 years, I’ve taught for professional schools, recreational programs, and in outreach programs, breaking down the barriers to dance education. Adult beginners and recreational dancers should have the same care and detailed instruction as those in professional training. The technique is the same; the goals are different.

Dance education can be rigorous yet also nurturing and tailored to the individual’s goals. Mindful approaches that support mental health along with practices that incorporate dance science (injury-prevention and training) are paramount in my approach.

  • "Lisa is a great teacher for beginners. She manages to put a choreography that although simple makes you feel like a dancer, with delightful twists and twirls. She breaks it down to follow it easily, explains every step, gives tips for improvements or finessing, and encourages to just go for it! I love her classes!"

Miss Lisa has provided constant guidance and encouragement much needed in her ballet journey. Miss Lisa’s kind and caring nature combined with the solid qualifications and teaching experiences makes her “the ballet teacher” every girl longs to have nearby. We absolutely love her and adore her class."
